Hornady® Outfitter™ Centerfire Rifle Ammo offers reliable performance under the most extreme conditions. Bullets, powder, and primers are loaded into nickel-plated brass cases, and sealed at the primer pocket and case mouth for waterproof assurance. The nickel plating protects cases from corrosion, which occurs when cartridges are carried in leather ammo loops, or during inclement weather. Hornady loads Outfitter rifle ammo with their monolithic, copper-alloy GMX™ bullets that perform across a very wide range of velocities. GMX bullets retain over 95% of their original weight while expanding up to 1.5 times their original diameter, for deep penetration and devastating terminal performance. GMX bullets are sleek, polymer-tipped, boat-tail projectiles with high ballistic coefficients that shoot flat and produce great accuracy. Bullets do not contain lead. Reloadable brass cases. Made in USA.
